An excellent onboarding experience is the foundation for effective learning. The MagicBox team has made significant progress with upgrading rostering integrations and have done performance and bug fixes to make onboarding more seamless and successful.

The MagicBox team will continue following a proactive and collaborative approach and would like to join hands with all our customers to initiate the success for upcoming BTS 2022.

What's new for BTS 2022

1. Clever Upgrade

With the release of Clever API v3 last year, Clever has announced to deprecate API V1 in December 2022 and all partners should have migrated off this version.

MagicBox as a Clever partner upgraded the integration from API V1.2 to V3 along with enhanced User Experience. It helps publishers and district admins to manage roster sync from the Clever with improved workflows. We have added a new dashboard page that shows the real time secure sync status and error logs.

We are targeting to release Clever upgrades for all customers before BTS 2022.

2. Performance Upgrade

  • Content Delivery Network (CDN)

    We are happy to announce that we are upgrading our current content distribution with CDN. A CDN is a network of servers that distributes content from an “origin” server throughout the world by caching content close to where each end user is accessing the internet via a web-enabled device

    CDN shall add following advantages in the Platform:

    • Up to 50% faster content-delivery to the end-user from nearby AWS edge locations.
    • Enhanced content-security with the existing DRM support.

    We are targeting to enable CDN for all customers before BTS 2022. Our support team will connect with you in the next 2-3 weeks for required support to enable this feature for your white-labeled platform.

  • Enhanced Assessment Player

    Assessments are an integral part of instruction which helps educators evaluate the progress, skill acquisition and the learning requirements of each student. Our MagicBox team knows how vital the Assessment Player is so they have optimized the question load and submit speed to enhance the overall performance of the Assessment player.

  • New App Versions

    In MagicBox we are constantly striving to enhance our product by adding new features, fine tuning the existing ones, identifying the pain points and mending them immediately. One such thing is Android and iOS app crash issues. Detecting, diagnosing and solving an app crash issue can be difficult however our team worked persistently and have rolled out fixes for Android and iOS app crash issues. We are happy to inform you that, before the BTS 2022 new app versions will be released in the stores.
