As June draws to a close, we are excited to announce the release of Course Player 3.0, our latest update designed to enhance your learning experience on the Magic Box platform. This update brings many new features and improvements, ensuring a more intuitive and efficient journey through your courses.
Introducing Course Player 3.0
Course Player 3.0 has new features that streamline course navigation, enhance user interaction, and improve the learning experience. Here’s a detailed look at what’s new:
Progress Tracking
Users can track their progress through a count of completed items or the percentage of courses completed.
- Untracked Progress: When the checkbox is not checked and the artifact progress is not tracked by the system, hovering over it will display: “Upon selecting the checkbox, the progress will be marked as completed.”
- Tracked Progress: When the checkbox is not checked and the artifact progress is tracked by the system, hovering over it will display: “Automatically marked as completed when progress is 100%.”
Mark as Completed
- Allows users to indicate that they have finished or completed a specific section, module, or task within the course content. Upon clicking on the checkbox the user can mark an artifact as completed.
- When the checkbox is checked, hovering over it will display the message: “You cannot undo the progress, once it is marked as completed.
Better Content Navigation
Users can navigate through different sections or modules of the course easily. This includes the navigation of the table of contents in a hierarchical manner upto 3 levels of TOC.
Hide/Unhide Table of Content(TOC) Button
The hide/unhide TOC button has also been updated to align with the new UI, making managing your course content visibility easier.
Page Navigation Button
The page navigation button is now only visible when you hover over the content, ensuring a cleaner and less cluttered interface.
